The romantic image of an über-programmer is someone who fires up Emacs, types like a machine gun, and delivers a flawless final product from scratch. A more accurate image would be someone who stares quietly into space for a few minutes and then says “Hmm. I think I’ve seen something like this before.”

A True Client From Hell!
Well, I was hoping you wouldn’t just be interested in making money. I wanted you to understand how much you could learn from me, and how valuable that would be. That’s why I think $12/hr is a fair rate for you to produce the website. If you can’t work for this rate than you miss out.

If you are like me that gets annoyed with flash and the memory hog that it is, there’s ClickToFlash which loads pages without loading flash components until you actually click on it. Pretty handy little plug-in for Safari on Mac OS X.
